1. Folding problem

2. Crack problem

High-quality thick-walled seamless steel pipes generally do not have cracks. Some steel pipes may have small spirally distributed cracks on the surface, with a depth of about one millimeter. It is generally caused by bubbles or impurities under the skin of hot-rolled pipes, which are defects caused during the processing. Therefore, the quality of the tube skin must be improved before subsequent processing.

3. Bruise problem

The strength of thick-walled seamless steel pipes is relatively high. If scratches appear on the surface, they usually appear as longitudinal straight scratches, most of which are groove-shaped. Generally, it is because there are internal scratches on the pipe material, which are not removed in time during drawing, so residual problems occur, which will also affect the quality of the steel pipe.
