Stay away from those companies that claim they register you with tons of search engines as it is usually those that you have never heard of despite showing the big ones during sign up. For that reason alone to ensure it gets done, just do it yourself. It's as easy as registering for a free email addy, so don't panic over it. Submitting duplicate content is a sure fire way to have your site sitting at the bottom of the website pile on most search engines. It's becoming more difficult to survive with spun material as well, so simply update your content regularly and keep the information fresh and new. When you build a site for business you want to attract as many eyes as possible to your site through the proper use of keywords. You also want to be preventative when it comes to how search engines index sites. That means don't give them a reason to think you are just a spam type site. Swapping back links with others is perfectly fine, however you do not want duplicate content or gibberish that is nothing more than single keywords slapped together to garner traffic. You won't last long if that's your goal. Follow these pointers and you will be moving up that ranking list in no time at all.
