GICLEE PHOTOS – PRODUCING IMAGE WITH MASS PRODUCTION

Here, artist needs to have Giclee printing equipment which would consist of an inkjet printer. Sometimes artist approaches the Giclee printing studio’s rather having it by own. The cost of Giclee printing can be varying from one studio to other.

            Photos canvas technique uses the methods like color balancing, cropping and retouching the work. Here, it resizes the images and removes the unwanted area. Also balance the color based on the original color. Whereas, the Giclee technique adds the extra effects and sprays the extra glitters on the image.  

            The main consideration is quality of the picture. It is very important than cost of Giclee printer. The fact behind the quality is the color fastness of the completed Giclee prints. Here, the color and fastness is determined by the quality of the inks, inkjet printer used and experience of the studio staff.
