For the longest time, Xfinity internet customers were able to enjoy thousands of movies and TV shows from Peacock, as well as sporting events and live TV channels the platform hosted, at no additional cost. As part of the larger Comcast umbrella, Xfinity and Peacock were often bundled together, but now with the cancellation of Peacock's free tier, you might be wondering if that's still the case.
The good news is that it is, albeit for certain Xfinity members. For instance, if you're an Xfinity user with gigabit speeds, you're actually eligible to get Peacocktv.com/tv Premium free for two years. But if you're not on Xfinity, you can still access a bundled deal via Amex's Digital Entertainment Credit program, which allows you to receive up to $20 in statement credits each month. With the demand for bundles reaching an all-time high, we're sure more deals will come up in the following months, but for now, these are the best streaming bundles out there. We gathered all that we could learn about them, such as device compatibility and channel lineup, in the list below.
Xfinity and Peacock Premium Bundle
For a good while, all Xfinity internet subscribers had access to Peacock's free tier. But since NBCUniversal switched Peacock into a paid-only service, Xfinity has followed suit with the changes. Thankfully, however, it hasn't completely canceled its Peacock-related bundles, so now there are currently two ways an Xfinity user can get Peacock Premium at no additional cost.
The first is available to Xfinity Internet customers with Gigabit speeds. With this level of service, you're entitled to Peacock Premium at no additional cost for two years, after which, you can elect to continue your Peacock subscription for $5.99/month. The second is available to Xfinity Internet customers who are Diamond or Platinum rewards members. At this level, you can redeem a reward from Xfinity's reward store, which then gives you access to Peacock Premium for free. Just remember to enroll at the rewards store before you avail of the offer. In both cases, you do not need a TV Box to start enjoying the bundle.
Peacock AMEX bundle
If you're a carrier of the American Express Platinum Card, you'll be happy to know that you can get up to $20 in statement credits each month if you purchase a Peacock subscription using your card. Peacock has two plans: Premium, which costs $5.99/month and gives you access to NBC and Bravo shows, Peacock originals, sporting events, and live channels, Premium Plus, which costs $11.99/month. Plus has everything Premium has plus your local NBC channel, offline downloads, and zero ads.
To get the Peacock and AMEX bundle, the rules are simple: you have to sign up directly on Peacock's website without using a third-party app or e-wallet, and you have to sign up for a standalone subscription. In other words, it shouldn't be part of a cable or other streaming service bundle. You'll also have to enroll your card on the AMEX website. Once all that's done, you can start getting your monthly $20 credit (or annual $240 credit). Just be sure to check that it's there; if it's still not posted 8 weeks after the date of purchase, you should call the number on the back of your card.
NOW TV and Peacock Premium Bundle
If you're an Xfinity internet customer, you're eligible to sign up for the Now TV and Peacock Premium bundle, a hefty live TV and on-demand streaming package that gives you access to films and TV shows from Universal, NBC, Bravo, Hallmark, History, and AMC, as well as 24/7 coverage from live channels like BBC News, NBC News Now, the Food Network, Discovery, and IFC. The beauty of this bundle is that covers the essentials of traditional TV, namely news, entertainment, and sports (Peacock.com/tv is home to a number of live sporting events), while also giving you all you need on the on-demand front. Even better? It only costs $20/month, Now TV's regular price, since Peacock Premium is added to the bundle completely free—no need to pay an additional $6/month, which is what the service would normally cost outside of this bundle.
The Now TV and Peacock Premium Bundle also comes with 20 hours of cloud DVR, and you can stream it on three concurrent screens. Apart from a subscription to Xfinity, there are no other strict requirements when claiming this offer.
