What are the packaging requirements for large-diameter spiral steel pipes?

1. If there is no requirement for packaging materials, they should meet the intended purpose to avoid waste and environmental pollution. If the customer requires that the spiral steel pipe should not have damage such as bumps on the surface, it can be considered to use protective equipment between the spiral steel pipes. Protective equipment can use rubber, straw rope, fiber cloth, plastic, pipe cap and so on. Thin-walled spiral steel pipe can adopt the method of internal support or external structure maintenance because of its thick wall and thin wall.

2. The material of the bracket and the outer frame is selected from the same steel material as the spiral steel pipe material. Regular spiral steel pipes are made in bulk. If the customer requires bundling, it can be considered as appropriate. But the caliber is between 159MM and 500MM. The bundled materials are packed and fastened with steel belts, and each strand should be twisted into at least two strands, and appropriately increased according to the outer diameter and weight of the spiral steel pipe to avoid loosening.

3. If there are threaded buckles at both ends of the spiral steel pipe, it should be protected by a thread maintainer. Apply lubricating oil or anti-rust agent to the thread. Spiral steel pipes are opened at both ends, and nozzle protectors can be added at both ends according to requirements. If the spiral steel pipe is put into the container, the container should be covered with soft equipment such as textile cloth and straw mat. In order to scatter the spiral steel pipe in the container, it can be bundled or welded with a protective bracket outside the spiral steel pipe.

In recent years, the import and export contracts of spiral steel pipes have continued unabated, and many contracts have conflicts during the operation period. Therefore, the following aspects must be paid attention to when refining the spiral steel pipe contract:

1. Ship times. Generally, import and export spiral steel pipe contracts are arranged in advance. Therefore, time must be considered and security arrangements must be made. If the goods are not delivered to the seaport immediately after the ship is booked, liquidated damages must be paid to the ship.

2. Standards, import and export contracts are generally implemented in accordance with foreign spiral steel pipe specifications. International standards and Chinese norms have different contents. Different contents must be marked, so as not to bring unnecessary inconvenience to the inspection of spiral steel pipes.

3. For transportation, the arrival fee must not be evaded. Be sure to indicate whether it is arrival or landing price. There are also many charges for the inner port fee and the hoisting fee of the spiral steel pipe.

4. Interest rates. Generally, all import and export contracts are settled in US dollars. What if the interest rate changes while the balance is being paid? Be sure to indicate whether it is the current price or the original contract price.
