2. Matters that should be paid attention to in piling safety management

(1) When hoisting piles from the pile storage site, collapse should be prevented and measures such as brakes should be adopted.

(2) When the pile is in place, if it is far away from the pile driver, an auxiliary crane should be used, or a pulley should be installed under the guide rod and used as a fulcrum to pull it over. At this time, the angle of the wire rope at the top of the guide rod should be within 30°. 

(3) The steel wire rope used to install the pedestal on the pile should be tightened so that it does not become detached or move, and should be checked at any time to prevent the rope from breaking.

(4) The foundation should be well compacted and drained to prevent the inclination of the foundation from causing the pile frame to incline. The inclination angle should be controlled to within 3°.

(5) When lifting people with piles, the rotation of the piles should be absolutely avoided, and the mutual collision and collision of piles, hammers and guide rods should be prevented.

(6) When the piles are being suspended, it is strictly prohibited to move the pile driving frame to prevent overturning. When encountering heavy rain or strong winds with a wind speed exceeding 10 m/s, pile driving should be stopped; when the wind speed is above 25 m/s, the steel wire rope should be stretched to prevent it from overturning. The rack tips over. If necessary, lower the rack to ensure safety.

(7) During the piling process, due to the effect of hammering vibration, check whether the bolts and nuts are loose on time.

(8) Pile driver operators can only take up their posts after undergoing training and examination and obtaining an operation certificate.

(9) The construction site should be flat and firm. There should be no high-voltage lines within 5 m around the pile driver. There should be obvious signs or fences in the work area to prohibit idlers from entering.

(10) When moving the pile frame, the pile hammer should be placed at the lowest position, the movement should be slow, the command should be unified, and measures should be taken to prevent tipping.

(11) The wire rope of the pile driver winch should be lubricated to prevent dry friction. The use and scrap standards of the wire rope should be implemented in accordance with the specifications.
