2. Construction method of Lassen Steel Sheet Pile

At present, the commonly used piling methods in China mainly include: crawler hydraulic excavators equipped with special piling fixtures (manipulators), various types of cranes, hydraulic vibrating hammers, static pressure pile drivers, etc. for piling. Each of the three methods has its advantages and disadvantages and should be selected according to the actual situation. In the Kunming area, crawler hydraulic excavators are often replaced with special piling fixtures (robots) for piling.

The commonly used construction method is the screen driving method. That is: during construction, insert 10 to 20 steel sheet piles into the guide frame in rows to make it look like a screen, and then drive the piles one by one. The screen-type driving method is less likely to cause buckling, torsion, inclination, and unevenness of the wall surface of the sheet piles. It has high driving accuracy and is easy to achieve sealing and closing. At the corner, corner steel sheet piles are usually used to achieve the turning of the trench or the closing of the steel plate village. Before piling, apply grease to the lock of the steel sheet pile to facilitate driving and pulling out.

Otherwise, the vibration of pile extraction and excessive soil on pile extraction will cause ground settlement and displacement, which will bring harm to the constructed underground structure and affect the safety of nearby original buildings, structures or underground pipelines.

Commonly used methods for pulling out piles: Use vibrating hammers to pull out piles: the forced vibration generated by the vibrating hammer is used to disturb the soil and destroy the cohesion of the soil around the steel sheet piles to overcome the pile pulling resistance, and rely on the additional lifting force to pull out the piles. For sheet piles that are difficult to pull out, you can first use a diesel hammer to vibrate the pile down 100-300mm, and then alternately vibrate and pull out the pile with a vibrating hammer.

When pulling out piles, efforts should be made to reduce the soil or backfill brought out by pulling out piles. Currently, water and sand filling measures are mainly used. The pile holes left after pulling out the piles must be backfilled in time.
