1. Prepare the casing

2) Check the inner diameter of each casing with a standard diameter gauge. When the diameter gauge is thrown in from the direction of the coupling, damage to the internal thread by the diameter gauge should be avoided. In principle, the casing should be passed manually. If a special pneumatic device is used for diameter adjustment, a plan must be made and safety should be paid attention to.
3) Use cleaning agent to carefully clean the internal and external threads. When cleaning, use a qualified brush. It is prohibited to use a wire brush; the wire guard should be cleaned and re-tightened.
4) Visual inspection: Check the casing steel grade and pipe body surface. If there are dents or scars, do not enter the well.
5) Check the couplings: Check the number of exposed buckles of the manufacturer's original couplings. The standard remaining buckles should not exceed 2 buckles, otherwise the well cannot be entered.
6) Thread inspection: Check whether the internal and external threads are intact. Those with unqualified threads are not allowed to enter the well and are marked and placed separately.
7) Casing length measurement: Length measurement is accurate to centimeters using rounding method. The length of a single casing is its total length minus the length of the external thread. The requirements for various threads are: API round threads are at the "vanishing point" or final graduation line mark of the thread; trapezoidal threads are based on the bottom edge of the triangular symbol printed on the pipe body; other special threads are based on the manufacturer's manufacturing standards. measuring point. When measuring casing, the engineering and well logging personnel shall measure it more than twice and calibrate it. Write the length and well entry number on the casing body with white paint and keep records.

3.Install casing
After drilling to a certain depth, you need to install casing in the wellbore. Casing is generally composed of sections of steel pipe. The length and diameter of the steel pipe are determined according to the depth of the wellbore and geological conditions. The process of installing casing requires the use of casing pliers to place the casing section by section into the wellbore until a predetermined depth is reached.
4. Cementing
After installing the casing, cementing is required. The purpose of cementing is to prevent well wall collapse and to control wellhead pressure. The process of cementing usually involves injecting cement slurry into the gap between the casing and the well wall, allowing it to solidify into a solid wall.
5.Connector
During the installation of casing, joints need to be used to connect each section of casing. The joint is usually composed of two threaded parts, which are connected by rotation to form a complete oil casing.
