According to the GB5310 standard, the outer diameter range of high-pressure boiler tubes is 22mm-530mm, and the wall thickness range is 2.0mm-50mm. In the production process, the dimensional accuracy of high-pressure boiler tubes is required to be high, and the deviation of the outer diameter and wall thickness should meet the requirements specified in the standard.

The production process of GB5310 high-pressure boiler tubes includes hot rolling, cold drawing, cold rolling and other methods. Among them, hot rolling is a commonly used production process. The required high-pressure boiler tubes are obtained by heating the steel billet to an appropriate temperature, and then rolling, cooling and other processes.

Application

Used for heating surface tubes of low and medium pressure boilers (working pressure is generally not more than 5.88Mpa, working temperature is below 450); used for heating surface tubes, economizers, superheaters, reheaters, petrochemical industry pipes, etc. of high-pressure boilers (working pressure is generally above 9.8Mpa, working temperature is between 450~650).

Performance

GB5310 high-pressure boiler tubes are divided into general boiler tubes and high-pressure boiler tubes according to the high temperature performance they withstand. Whether general GB5310 high-pressure boiler tubes or high-pressure boiler tubes, they can be divided into various steel pipes according to their different use requirements.

Specifications and appearance quality

(1) GB3087-2008 "Seamless Steel Pipe for Low and Medium Pressure Boilers". Specifications of steel tubes for various structural boilers, outer diameter 10~426mm, totaling 43 types. Wall thickness 1.5~26mm, totaling 29 types. However, the outer diameter and wall thickness of superheated steam pipes, large smoke pipes, small smoke pipes and arch brick pipes for locomotive boilers are separately specified.

(2) GB5310-2008 "Seamless Steel Tubes for High Pressure Boilers" The outer diameter of hot-rolled tubes is 22~530mm, and the wall thickness varies from 20~70mm. The outer diameter of cold-drawn (cold-rolled) tubes is 10~108mm, and the wall thickness varies from 2.0~13.0mm.

(3) GB3087-2008 "Seamless Steel Tubes for Low and Medium Pressure Boilers" and GB5310-2008 "Seamless Steel Tubes for High Pressure Boilers". Appearance quality of GB5310 high-pressure boiler tube: Cracks, folds, rolling folds, scars, delamination and hairline are not allowed on the inner and outer surfaces of the steel tube. These defects should be completely removed. The cleaning depth shall not exceed the negative deviation of the nominal wall thickness, and the actual wall thickness at the cleaning location shall not be less than the minimum value allowed by the wall thickness.
