Norton is a antivirus software that protects your system against viruses and malware. It is one of the best software for the job and it has a alert messages service. There will be pop ups on the screen about a notification. This is useful to know the condition of the software but sometimes what happens is you’re working on something important, reading an email or preparing a file and suddenly you see a pop up on the screen. This can be disturbing and you might wonder how to get rid of Norton pop ups. The pop ups inform you about the full system scans, or lives updates that are available. The pop ups can be about offers or alerts. In order to stop Norton pop ups you have to wait for a few seconds. But you do have the option of permanently or temporarily disable them in default settings.
Let’s have a look at the steps on how to stop Norton pop ups. You have to navigate to Norton antivirus settings and follow the steps.
Steps to disable pop-ups:
- Go to the search option and type ‘Norton antivirus’ and press enter key.
- Click on the general tab under settings.
- Click on the Norton tasks to turn off the notifications.
- Now, click on the other settings and turn off special offer notifications.
- Click on rest of the notifications you want to turn off.
- Then, click on apply to disable the Norton antivirus pop ups.
- Click on the close button to exit the application.
You can choose which notifications you want to see and other which you want to block. The issue of reappearing pop ups is very common but as we saw, it has a very simple solution to it.
