1. The short wire connection is a fixed connection between the outer thread of the stainless steel pipe and the inner thread of the pipe fittings or valve parts. When connecting, according to the characteristics of the medium, the inner and outer threads are wrapped with fillers such as linen, lead oil or PTFE film. When wrapping the packing, it should be wrapped clockwise on the external thread. This results in a tighter thread for better connection strength and tightness. When connecting, firstly tighten 2 to 3 clips by hand, and then tighten them with pipe clamps. It should be operated with the pipe clamp corresponding to the pipe diameter. The force is moderate, and the force should not be too large, so as to avoid bursting, and it will not get a good seal if it is not in place.

2. Filament connection is one of the common activities of stainless steel pipe connection. It consists of a short thread, one end is a common thread (short filament), the other end is a filament (no taper at the root of the filament) and a lock nut (root). Figure 2-57 shows an example of a filament connection. In practical applications, it is necessary to add a wall to the ordinary thread of the pipe clamp, which is an opening for the radiator to enter the filament connection.

Installation: First, connect the filament to the root, and then unwrap the filament, screw the filament into the inner thread of the radiator core. At this time, the other end of the filament is wrapped with ordinary packing (as shown in the figure). When the elbow is tightened, the root of the long thread rotates to the center of the radiator. Threading pipe hoop) 3 ~ 5mm, and then wrap an appropriate amount of filler at the gap, and the winding direction is consistent with the direction of the root to prevent loosening, and then tighten the root with a pipe clamp to fill the filler. Wire, in the opposite order of installation, first loosen the mother, remove the filler, and put the filament into the radiator core or ordinary wire tube hoop. At this time, the ordinary wire (short wire) is withdrawn, and then the filament is withdrawn to complete the removal. Filament connection cost is low, simple and easy, and more beautiful. The disadvantage is that in the absence of radiator packing and ordinary threaded pipe clamps, the root of the packing is easy to leak, and the filament cannot be used, only the union can be used.
