After the seamless carbon steel pipe is processed, there will be some twists and turns, and the reduction of these twists and turns must be done by a straightening machine. Therefore, almost all processed carbon steel pipes must be straightened by a straightening machine.
The snaking of carbon steel pipes is caused by improper adjustment of the rolling mill, residual residual stress during the rolling process, and uneven cooling along the cross-section and length of the pipe. Therefore, it is impossible to obtain a very straight pipe from the rolling mill, as long as the tortuosity of the cold straightened pipe meets the rules of the technical conditions.
The fundamental reason for straightening is to make the carbon steel pipe elastically bend, and the large bend becomes a small bend. Therefore, the steel pipe needs to be twisted and twisted repeatedly in the straightening machine. The degree of repeated bending of the steel pipe is mainly determined by the adjustment of the straightening machine.
Carbon steel pipes are widely used, and can be divided into low and medium pressure seamless steel pipes, high pressure seamless steel pipes, and stainless steel seamless pipes according to different requirements. It can be used in industrial pipelines of water vapor, air, oil, gas, etc. with different pressures.
