R32 gas is a type of refrigerant gas that is used in aircon units. For an aircon system to work, gases like R32 must be present and maintained at certain levels within the system. Highly flammable: The main disadvantage of this refrigerant is that it is highly flammable when compared to other gases like R22, R410A, etc. This means that extra precautions will be taken during installation to ensure that there are no leakages or any other issues that might.

More expensive: Whilst R32 air conditioning units are more energy-efficient, this does mean that they are more expensive than other air conditioning systems.

High-pressure Gas: R32 refrigerant also has a higher pressure than other gases so it requires different piping materials. If you install an R32 system in your home, make sure that your installer uses certified R32 parts to avoid damage to your air conditioner and to avoid any safety risks.
