Application of Longitudinal Welded Pipe in Steel Structure

Many examples in nature show the excellent structural properties of circular tubes under compression, torsion, and multi-directional bending. The welded tube is expanded through the full length, has good pipe shape, accurate size, wide range of steel pipe wall thickness and pipe diameter, high degree of automation, and low production cost compared with seamless steel pipe. It has broad prospects in the bearing columns of steel structures such as bridges, dams, and offshore platforms, super-long-span building structures, and tower mast structures.
