Points for attention in natural gas pipeline welding technology：

(1) Material requirements: The materials and specifications must meet the design requirements, and the factory certificate and re-inspection report should be attached.
(2) Welding rod requirements: the coating has no defects such as cracks. Pores etc. The arc should burn stably and melt evenly, and there should be no agglomeration or falling during the welding process. The user needs to be dry.
(3) Preparation before welding: the inner wall of the nozzle should be cleaned, the misalignment should not exceed 1mm, the welding device should be firm, and necessary measures should be taken to prevent welding stress and deformation.
(4) Welding equipment: AC electric welding machine, DC electric welding machine, angle grinder, drying oven, insulation barrel.
(5) Requirements for welders: Welders must hold welding certificates and receive training and evaluation before starting work. The work site has safety protection measures to prevent burns, electric shocks and collapses.
(6) Welding process: Derust the pipeline before welding, and apply anti-rust paint after exposing the metallic color. When welding pipelines, use reasonable welding methods and sequences to ensure the quality of the arc starting and ending points. Multi-layer welding joints should be staggered, and slag and spatter should be removed after each layer welding. If you find some defects, please use an angle grinder to remove and re-welding. Single-sided manual arc welding is used for welding. Before welding the next layer, polish each layer with a hand wheel. In order to reduce welding deformation and welding stress, symmetrical or segmented welding methods can be used, and all welds should be visually inspected. The height of the weld reinforcement is 1mm, and the width of the weld should cover the groove 2mm. There are no cracks, seams, pores, slag inclusions on the weld surface. The weld shall meet the 100% qualification requirement of Class II.
