Here are the steps you can follow to set up the extender:
• Start with a router reset. Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds.
• Connect your device to the internet using username and password.
• Turn on your wifi range extender.
• After establishing a connection, open the web browser on your Laptop or computer and enter 192.168.1.1. In address bar.
• Enter the username and password to access the setup page. Leave the username field blank and enter ‘admin’ as a password.
• Click the basic wireless settings option.
• Set Configuration view to the manual and enter the username of your router.
• Add the necessary details like username, password, security type, internet connection type.
• Click Apply to save the settings.
Your Linksys Extender Setup process is completed and you are all set to use the range extension device.
