• Enter the username and password that you have chosen during the Wifi Extender Setup. By default, the username is ‘admin’ and the password is ‘password’. Both the username and password are case sensitive.
• Tap to login.
• Choose Setup>>Wireless Settings.
• Under ‘Security’ options verify the password value, it must match the router password.
• Click to Apply.
• Reconnect the wireless devices to the extender.
Reconnecting the Netgear Wifi Range Extender through WiFi
• Press and hold the ‘Factory Settings’ button for at least seven seconds. Your extender will reset.
• Open the wifi menu on your device and connect the default wifi network of the extender.
• Open a web browser on your device and enter mywifiext.net in the address bar of your web browser.
• Hit the Enter button and click on the Search option.
• Enter the username and password and click on the Login option.
• Follow the prompts for reconnecting the extender to the home network.
