Preceding are the steps to solve the HP Envy printer not found during the installation process issue:
- Firstly, reset the Printing system by clicking the System Preferences menu.

- From the menu bar, click Go and click Applications.
- After that, access the HP folder.
- Fourthly, click and drag the HP folder to the Trash icon in the Dock
- Further, control click the Trash icon and choose Empty Trash.
- Now, make the HP Envy 5055 printer for driver installation and ensure that the printer is on and cartridges are loaded.
- Likewise, open a web browser and reach 123.hp.com/setup 5055 to download the driver.
- In 123.hp.com/setup 5055, click the driver download link, and this will direct you to the drivers and downloads section.
- On the other hand, in there, choose the operating system from the available list.
- Meanwhile, access your computer and check for the version of the operating system.
- Select the exact version of your operating system from the second list
- Now, you need to reach the license agreement if any and accept it.
- Moreover, read the driver file information and click the Download button.
- Finally, choose a location for the driver file to get saved.
- Next, access the driver file location and double-click the driver file to start with the installation process.
- Change the system preferences option on your Mac device and add the HP Envy 5055 printer.
