Nepal: More Than Just Tall Mountains!

First things first: Mountains! Nepal is home to Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world! It's way, way up there - like 8,848.86 meters high (that's 29,031.7 feet!).  Imagine standing next to something that tall! Actually, did you know that out of the 14 highest mountains in the world, nine are in Nepal?  People come from all over to see these giants. You can even walk on trails and see amazing views without climbing to the top.

But Nepal is not just mountains. Guess what? It's also the place where Buddha was born! Yes, Siddhartha Gautama, who became the Buddha, was born in Lumbini, Nepal, a long, long time ago, over 2,500 years back!  Today, Lumbini is a calm and pretty garden. People visit to feel peaceful and learn. Nepal has lots of old temples and cities with cool stories too.

And there's more! Nepal is full of nature. You can find jungles with tigers and rhinos! Nepal has even doubled the number of tigers in recent years!  That’s great news for animals! Imagine going on a jungle trip and maybe seeing a tiger! Besides tigers, there are monkeys, colorful birds, and green trees everywhere you look.
