Mexico City is located in a valley between two volcanoes. The plateau reaches an altitude of 2,240 meters (7,349 ft), making Mexico City an attractive and scenic spot. The city was built by the Aztecs in 1325 and has still managed to maintain its historic buildings and heritage. The city is a year-round destination due to its pleasant climate. It has a beautiful expanse of lush green land and plenty of sunshine which makes the city a perfect vacation spot. The rainy season starts in June and lasts till September.
