7. Welding operation: Insert the welding rod into the welding rod holder, start the welding machine, and heat the edge of the steel pipe and the welding rod through the welding current and arc to melt them and form a weld.
8. Welding completed: Check the welding length and quality according to the requirements and specifications to ensure the tightness and appearance quality of the weld.
9. Welding seam treatment: Use a brush to clean the oxide scale and welding slag on the surface of the welding seam, and grind and polish it to make the welding seam smoother and more beautiful.
10. Inspection and acceptance: Conduct visual inspection and dimensional measurement of the welded pipes to determine whether they meet the requirements and standards. If it is qualified, it will be accepted, otherwise it will need to be repaired or re-welded.

Precautions for straight seam submerged arc welded tubes

2. When welding, pay attention to controlling the welding parameters. Too high or too low current and voltage will affect the welding quality. According to the welding materials and requirements, select appropriate parameters for welding.
3. After welding is completed, the welds must be inspected and trimmed. Discover and correct welding defects in time to improve welding quality.
