This isn't the case with Diablo IV, where players are able to transfer legendary power around using an NPC known as the Occultist when an item with higher performance has been discovered. Players will be able to transform rare items into legendary ones too.

"And to think is being able to hold on to your character and being the only person to fully customize your character's look by taking legendary powers, separating them from one thing , and transforming them into D2R Ladder Items Buy something else in a fundamental way, which changes the build system," Fergusson said.
