Centrend Names Anthony LaFlamme as Service Operations Manager

Centrend, a Sturbridge, Massachusetts-based managed IT services and consulting firm, recently named Anthony LaFlamme as its new service operations manager.

In his new role, LaFlamme will oversee the design and implementation of client technology projects, including network implementations. He will also manage Centrend technicians, assign resources to projects and work with vendors on behalf of clients.

“Anthony brings a strong technical background along with the ability to look at the bigger picture of what a client is trying to accomplish,” said Paul LaFlamme, CEO of Centrend. “As technology becomes more complex and our services continue to expand, having Anthony oversee service operations will help us manage projects and resources while maintaining the level of responsiveness our clients expect.”

LaFlamme joined Centrend in August. The position marks a return to the company for LaFlamme, who previously worked at Centrend as a technician.

“One of the things I enjoy most is being able to take a large project from the initial idea through design and implementation and then see the difference it makes,” said Anthony LaFlamme. “There’s something very satisfying about mapping out a solution, putting it into place and seeing it work.”

LaFlamme earned a bachelor’s in business and information technology from Framingham State University in 2021 and a juris doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2026. His legal education also complements his work with technology vendors and contracts.

LaFlamme will also be involved with Centrend’s growing artificial intelligence practice. Centrend helps small and mid-sized businesses identify practical uses for AI while keeping security, data protection and human oversight in mind. Its AI services include strategy and readiness assessments, AI policies and guardrails, workflow automation and AI agents, Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, employee training and ongoing support.

LaFlamme resides in Quincy, Massachusetts. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, golf and video games.
