In the blog post(opens in a new tab) posted on yesterday, development team posted an update regarding the game's abundant bots, and said it was "working on internal strategies as well as tools that will make it much more difficult for bots to play the game".

This announcement comes after an announcement last week that said Smilegate had "been engaged in developing effective tools and strategies to eliminate bots from the game" and had banned more than 1 million "bot" accounts from its servers(opens in new page) in March.

"We realize that this isn't going to be enough to solve the problem and that bots are still operating in the game, so we're trying to provide reassurance that this was just one step in an ongoing fight.

"Following the initial ban, we're constantly rolling out additional bans to eliminate additional bots out of the game. In addition, we are currently working on internal methods and tools to make it harder for bots to get into the game, especially given the speed at which they're creating. These updates will be on their way to the game. "We've received feedback from players regarding the impact these bots could have on game's economy, particularly when it comes to selling and buying gold, and we are closely checking this situation," the post explained Lost Ark Gold for sale.
