The next chapter of the hugely multiplayer online role-playing game

While it's not as good as last year's, Activision Blizzard WoTLK Gold has a number of new games planned in the July-September quarter. The recently announced World of Warcraft: Black Ops - Resurrection add-on that is available for download is one of the most notable of these. The other releases are Silicon Knights' X-Men Destiny (September 27) and Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012.

Activision Blizzard also announced Cabela's Hunting Party today, saying it will be available before September, on Xbox 360. The publisher also said that Cabela's Hunting Party will come "Kinect-ready."

In light of its expectations-setting performance in the first two quarters of its fiscal year, Activision Blizzard also raised its guidance for earnings growth throughout the year. The publisher is now predicting to bring in $4.18 billion of revenue in the coming year, an increase from the initial expectations that were $4.05 billion. Investors have thus far responded positively to the company's performance and shares have risen by 1.6 percentage to $12.01 at press time.

Despite the devastating effects on Azeroth that came with The Shattering, it's a certainty that Cataclysm was not the final chapter of World of Warcraft. The next chapter of the hugely multiplayer online role-playing game isn't very far away, considering an upcoming Blizzard trademark application cheap WoTLK Gold filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office has led to speculation about the next 800-pound gorilla's online expansion.
