Its antibacterial mechanism involves binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It exhibits good antibacterial activity against various Gram-positive cocci, including most staphylococci and streptococci (except for group D streptococci), as well as against certain mycoplasmas and some spirochetes. Difference between Tiamulin and Tylosin

1. Prevention and Treatment of Swine Mycoplasmal Pneumonia Use tiamulin fumarate in combination with sulfonamide drugs (added at 20 mg/kg body weight) for 7-10 days to treat coughing pigs infected with mycoplasma.
