Add Brother Printer To Mac: Steps To Follow
Before you connect your printer to the Mac device, it is recommended to note down the Network SSID and password ( if you are using the Wireless Connection). After that, proceed with the following instructions:
- Connect your brother printer to the power outlet and turn it on.
- Now, insert the CD you got with your printing device into the CD ROM drive that came along with your printer.
- Proceed with the onscreen instructions to install the printer drivers.
- Restart your Brother printer so that it could easily recognize the newly installed driver and software.
- Choose the printer and install 'Paper Port'. Make sure that you have carefully read the instructions mentioned in the user manual while doing the task.
- On your Mac device, click on the 'Apple' menu and choose the 'System preferences' option.
- Click on the 'Printers and Scanners' option and hit the 'Add' button.
- Click on the Default option and choose the printer name from the list appearing on your screen. Click on the 'Add' button.
- Your Brother Printer will be added to your Mac device. To end the installation process, you need to click on the 'System Preferences' option.

- Click on the 'Apple' menu.

- After this, you need to click on the 'Printer and Scanner' option.
- Press and Hold the 'Control Key' present on your Keyboard.
- Choose the 'Reset Printer System' option.
- After the reset, the list of 'Printers and Scanner' will be empty.
- Once again, you are all set to print the documents using Brother printer.
