1. Rough Pressure Range: For water media, the typical working pressure of Sch 40 carbon steel pipes is around 1.0 MPa to 2.0 MPa. Specific pressures require precise calculations based on size, material, and temperature.

2. Simple Judgment: If your system is a typical building's water, air, or air conditioning system, then Sch 40 is highly likely the standard and correct choice.

3. When to Upgrade to Sch 80 pipe: When system pressure is higher, the media is corrosive or abrasive, or the environment experiences strong vibration and impact, the use of Sch 80 must be considered.
