Google Account Recovery

Using your recovery details, you can retrieve your email address in case you've forgotten it. But move on to the next section if you can't remember your password.

1. Visit the website for recovering your Google account.

2. Select the "Forgot email" option.

3. Type in the phone number or recovery email that you added when creating the account.

4. Click the Next button.

5. Enter the names you used to register for the account, or your first and last name.

6. Click the Next button.

7. Select Send from the dialog box to obtain a verification code.

8. To find the verification code, check your text or email inbox.

9. After entering the code, select Next. A list of accounts connected to the recovery phone number or email is displayed to you.

10. Choose the relevant account.

1. After entering the password, select Next.

2. If you have selected two-step verification, confirm your login.

Try the following technique if you failed to register a device to receive instructions from Google.

Click if you are allowed to look for the code on your phone. Once more, attempt a different method.

After that, Google will ask if it may give your registered phone number a verification code. Press Send.

Go to your messages, find the code, type it into the text field, and then click Next.

Watch for Google to email you the password reset link after six hours.

However, there is one more approach you can take if you do not have a registered number.

Click Try another way if you don't have a registered phone number or if you didn't enable two step verification.

After 72 hours of identity verification, Google will send you a link to reset your password if everything is in order.
